Honeymoon Day 6 | Six Senses Resort | Koh Yao Noi, Thailand

Since we had so many activities booked for the first two days, we decided to take it easy on our last full day and explore more of the resort itself. The resort is known for its sustainability and one of the ways they make it so is by having their own chicken farm where guests can pick up eggs for breakfast. Mike was especially excited about this part and couldn't wait to get his eggs!

What does "On Vacation" mean? :\

They thought his shoes were food and kept pecking them!

We already had two massages the other day but decided to book two more later in the afternoon because it was just so good. All of the sessions were 60-90 minutes long so we definitely felt relaxed and pampered by the end of the trip.

We were supposed to have a private dinner on the beach but it was raining too hard and those plans were scrapped. Instead, we had another chef's table dinner.

Honeymoon Day 5 | Six Senses Resort | Koh Yao Noi, Thailand

Our 2nd day at the resort was jam-packed with activities. To start it off, we reserved a sunrise breakfast by the pool. It was special because we had the whole hilltop to ourselves while we ate breakfast and watched the sun rise over Phang Nga Bay. We couldn't pass this opportunity up... waking up at 4:20AM was a very small price to pay!

Mike, probably thinking about ramen.

Breakfast for two, please!

Way too much food for the two of us!

Alice trying her best to finish her omelette.

We thought we'd have time for a nap after that very big breakfast, but before we knew it it was time to go kayaking! We made our way to the entrance port where got on a long-tail boat to get to our destination.

So much limestone everywhere!

Kayaking along the limestones was both scary and exciting. We paddled our way through these small caves (and even a bat cave!) and every time we emerged through the other side it was like stepping into another world 😮  10/10 would do again 👍🏽

We saw a little monkey friend!

The popular James Bond Island.

Pokémon Go isn't allowed here.

After kayaking, we stopped by here to eat some lunch.

We didn't take too many pictures of dinner but here are two of dessert! It was buffet-style and had many different cuisines.

Honeymoon Day 4 | Six Senses Resort | Koh Yao Noi, Thailand

After 3 days in Bangkok, we made our way to Six Senses. It's a resort located on the island of Koh Yao Noi, just north east of Phuket. When we arrived at Phuket's airport, we were greeted by a driver who was holding a sign with our names on it. From that moment on, they took care of everything and we didn't have to worry about a thing. The driver took us to a port and we then took a speed boat to get to the resort. The boat ride was an amazing experience... about 30 minutes of incredible views.

Pulling up to the resort!

We stayed in an Ocean Panorama Pool Villa. We've seen the pictures from their site but when we opened the door, we couldn't believe our eyes. It was just insanely beautiful in person. Here's a mini tour and some pictures that don't do it any justice.

Can't get tired of this view.

Woke up to this every morning.

Our very own pool looking over Phang Nga Bay!

An aerial view of our villa! Picture: Six Senses

The infinity pool is phenomenal to say the least.

We reserved a chef's table dinner to end the night with Chef Otto. It was so awesome to be right there seeing him in his element and observing how a chef thinks. Alice got to share her memories of her mom cooking with him.
